ケガレと身分差別の比較研究
インド?プネーのダリトコミュニティ調査、日本の被差別部落、さらにこれまでのスペイン?バスク地方のアゴテの研究を踏まえて、現代におけるケガレと身分差別の国際比較研究を進めている。さらにインド?プネーのスラムや、日本の寄せ場、北米ロスアンジェルスのスキッド?ロウなど都市スラムとそれらの課題との歴史的関係も考察している。Comparative Study on Pollution and Caste-based Discrimination
Through the research on Dalit community in Pune, India, Hisabetsu-Buraku in Japan, Agote in Basque, Spain, I examine how pollution and caste-based discrimination function in the present society. In addition, for the purpose of demonstrating a historical relation of those issues and modern urban slums, I investigate slums in Pune, India, Yoseba in Japan, and Skid Row in Los Angeles. -
生政治からみた近世?近代日本思想史
中世後期の禅仏教による儒教受容から近世における儒教の「日本化」および国学、水戸学までを読み直すことで、それらが明治近代の思想に与えた影響を考察している。Japanese Intellectucal History from the perspective of bio-politics
With rereading an accepting process of Confucianism by Zen Buddist in the late Mediaval period, nativized Confusianism in the Edo period and the formation of Kokugaku and Mitogaku, I examine that what influence was made by those thoughts in Meiji Modernization.
